    • The Professional Development course is provided to help students better prepare for their transition from college into either graduate school or a career by enhancing the professional development and leadership skills necessary to be successful. The course will cover topics such as: information search, PPT skills, scientific morality, and leadership and community development.
    • Course Syllabus:
    • After completing the course, students should:
      1. Employ current technologies to access information, to conduct research, and to communicate findings. Particularly learn to use the library resources effectively;
      2. Learn to prepare PPT and video in an effective and beautiful way;
      3. Examine critically philosophical and other theoretical issues concerning the nature of human experience, knowledge, value, and/or cultural production.
      4. Communicate complex ideas effectively, in standard written English, to a general audience.
      5. Analyze and synthesize information and ideas from multiple sources to generate new insights.
      6. Analyze and critically assess information from traditional and emergent technologies.
