Ship drawings are used to describe ship structures with certain rules in order to make the ship owner, engineers and surveyors simply and directly communicated. The course make use of the original textbooks of ship structure and ship knowledge. Moreover, it combines certain traditions of the domestic shipbuilding industry. Although, there is no specified original book for ship drawing, the blueprint drawings of a container ship with English Explanations have been employed as a compensation with an upcoming English lecture note. The course includes not only knowledge of ship structures, but also ship drawing skills with the aid of professional software.
