    • Ship Purchase Sale and Operation is a core course, which combines both theories and practices. In terms of giving lectures, case studies and teamwork, the students are then getting familiar with ship and ship products markets, ship trading principles, and template contracts of sales and purchase of ship. Besides, it also covers pricing principles of ship products, and trends of ship finance. Therefore, the course will train the students to obtain fundamental knowledge of shipping management, and the capability of providing solutions to ship trading and operations. The contents consist of bidding and pricing on naval architecture, bidding and pricing on new-built ships, trading on second-hand ships and scraped ships, standard contracts and their terms, negotiations and payment methods, etc.
